Memotiva ("we", "us", or "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our Service. By using the Service, you consent to the practices described in this Policy.

We collect information you provide directly to us: email address, display name, and profile information. We collect audio recordings and files you upload, as well as learning data including review history and flashcard progress. We automatically collect technical data such as IP address, browser type, operating system, pages visited, and usage patterns. We may collect payment information via our third-party payment processors (we do not store full card numbers).

3. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to: provide, maintain, and improve the Service; send transactional emails (verification codes, account notifications); personalize your learning experience using spaced-repetition algorithms; process payments and subscriptions; analyze usage patterns to improve the Service; and comply with legal obligations.

Your data is stored on secure servers. We implement industry-standard technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. Audio files are stored in encrypted cloud storage. However, no method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

6. User-Generated Content

Content you publish to the public Library is visible to all users. Audio recordings and topics that are not published remain private to your account. You can delete your content at any time. Note that copies made by other users (forks) may remain even after you delete the original.

8. Data Retention

We retain your personal data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. You may delete your account at any time, at which point we will delete your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.
